Seidio Convert Case For HTC Evo

Much like other Seidio cases the Convert case for the HTC Evo has two layers. First the silicone wrap (which has finger grooves for the pistol grip feel) and a second hard polycarbonate that snaps on top of the silicone layer.
The polycarbonate case covers the corners for some impact protection while leaving the silicone exposed on the sides for comfort.

A unique feature of the Seidio Convert case is the window flap for the rear camera. If you need to take a picture or video, the flap has a small tab that allows it to pop out without sacrificing the camera view. HTC Evo 4G Tipping Kickstand

Anyone who has ever tried to watch a movie on the HTC Evo has probaby had this problem at some point or another, especially with a case on. When the kickstand is out and the HTC Evo is displayed on the table, the bottom rim of all cases (so far) have rounded edges just like the rest of the case.

Active X Case By Seidio

There are 2 different versions of the active case. The first model has the impact absorbing silicone polymer layer with the hard plastic case on top covering most of phone (including the full rim). The second and newest version, the Active X, is more of a bold design. Its still has the same impact silicone polymer but is redesigned along with the hard shell.

Rather than covering the full rim of the phone, the hard shell covers the four corners and the midway point on the sides. This exposes the impact silicone right where we would normally hold the phone, the top and bottom section near the ports. Read More »

The Surface case designed for the HTC Shift is nearly identical to the design for the Evo 4G. With the obvious exeption to the slider feature. With the slider feature on the Shift, there is only one design gripe. Rather than the case surrounding the ports completely, they are designed around the ports in an open “C” shape. (As shown in the photo above). This might be a valid, purposeful design since the area that would close the current “C” opening would be very thin if it was designed to surround it completely and therefore easy to break.
